According to U.S. Patent No. 6,994,760 B2, Corus Aluminium Walzrodukte GmbH, Koblenz, invented a high-strength Al-Mg-Si alloy characterized by intermediate metals. The content of the compound is low, so it has both high strength and good fatigue properties. Its main component (mass%) is traces of Si. The ingot is homogenized and hot-rolled at 530°C-560°C for 4-30h.
