Wenzhou's rapid increase in export of lamps and lanterns has greatly increased exports of energy-saving lamps

The author recently learned from the Wenzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that in the first 11 months of this year, a total of 5003 lamps and 102 million U.S. dollars were exported to our city, an increase of 22.2% and 37.1% year-on-year respectively. Among them, the export value of energy-saving lamps and lanterns increased from US$1.65 million last year to US$6.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 294%.

The data shows that since the beginning of this year, the export of Wenzhou lamps and lanterns has been growing. On the one hand, the warming of the international economy has led to the export of Wenzhou lamps; on the other hand, the development of emerging markets has also promoted the growth of Wenzhou lamps and lanterns, and Wenzhou's exports to Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia have shown an upward trend.

According to the relevant inspection and Quarantine Bureau sources, Wenzhou lamps and lanterns export chandelier, Christmas string lights and other traditional lamps and related accessories, technology content is relatively low. However, in the context of energy-saving trends, Wenzhou has also emerged a number of companies focused on energy-saving lighting products, energy-saving lamps also significantly increased exports.
