Chongqing Machine Tool Group grinding processing project received financial support

Recently, the “Introduction of British PTG Grinding and Processing Technology Cooperation Project” undertaken by Chongqing Machine Tool Group won the 1 million yuan financial support of the municipal finance 2010 international cooperation project. Antony James Bannan, CEO of PTG, a machine tool group and two rivers scholars, will participate in the cooperative development research of the grinding technology part of the project.

In the gear processing technology, the grinding technology can eliminate the deformation of the gear after heat treatment, improve the gear precision and surface roughness, make the gear transmission smooth, high life and low noise. With the improvement of grinding gear processing efficiency and the reduction of the cost of single gear grinding, the “roll-grinding” process gradually replaces the technical upgrade of the “roll-shaving” process, and the application range of the grinding process will become wider and wider. This project is based on the 3rd generation grinding machine tool developed by Chongqing Machine Tool Group. It cooperates with British PTG to develop grinding processing technology, which makes the reliability, stability and precision retention of the new prototype reach the international advanced level. The main contents of the project are: 1. Introduced RTG Group GTG2 gear grinding machine R & D technology; 2. Conquered the key points and key technologies of gear grinding machine, obtained the international advanced technology of development, design and manufacture of gear grinding machine products; 3. Developed a new generation of gear grinding machine, reaching international Advanced technology level, and fill the domestic gap, replace imports, to meet the needs of automotive, engineering machinery and other industries for the mass production of gears.
