The cable joint housing parts shown in Figure 1 were encountered in our production. The part is a thin-walled casting made of cast aluminum alloy ZL104. The main body is conical, and the two ends respectively protrude from the threaded joint. The difficulty of processing is mainly concentrated on the boring processing. We designed the housing boring fixture to solve the processing difficulties. The boring clamp, as shown in Figure 2, is used on a C630 lathe.
