The combustion degreasing furnace is used to seal the workpiece of the carburizing furnace or the continuous carburizing furnace production line in advance. The surface of the workpiece coming from the machine shop is provided with cutting oil, liquid or cold stamping grease. If these deposits are not removed before carburizing, the fumes will be formed during the subsequent heat treatment heating process, resulting in the work site and Environmental pollution. Cleaning with a cleaning agent is cumbersome, costly, and unfavorable to the environment. Degreasing a greased workpiece into a furnace is a simple, inexpensive and energy efficient method.
The degreasing furnace is preferably heated with gaseous fuel. Two burners are provided for this furnace wall (see Figure 35). The combustion air is preheated by the flue gas, and then mixed with the gas to burn, and part of the flue gas can be returned to the burner to participate in the combustion again. The volatilization of the grease on the surface of the workpiece also becomes a fuel to participate in the combustion, so after normal operation, the fuel gas used is small. The temperature of the degreasing furnace is generally maintained at 500 to 550 ° C, so the workpiece is preheated. The surface of the workpiece will also be slightly pre-oxidized during the degreasing process, which will help to reduce the internal oxidation of the steel during carburization and also improve the uniformity of the layer.
