Nanjing 100 sets of mobile intelligent monitoring enabled

On September 17, Nanjing Traffic Control Department installed 100 sets of mobile intelligent automatic capture monitoring equipment on buses to automatically capture and collect evidence of illegal use of bus-only lanes.

It is understood that the device can automatically locate, capture, and automatically transmit illegal vehicle photos according to GPS positioning shooting time, road sections, etc., and automatically upload the 3A network to the Traffic Management Bureau application management platform. After verification and confirmation, it is recorded in the illegal system. The traffic control department shall impose a fine of 100 yuan on illegal vehicles in accordance with Articles 37 and 90 of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Road Traffic Safety" and Article 57, Item 3 of the "Regulations on Road Traffic Safety of Jiangsu Province".

Social vehicles entering and exiting adjacent branches, units or communities, or in the event of road accidents, construction obstacles, and vehicle breakdown, etc., can temporarily use public transport lanes to pass traffic. They are not illegal, but they must not be stranded or parked on bus lanes. Must not affect the normal traffic of public transport vehicles.

The police indicated that there are currently 43 bus lanes in Nanjing City. The total length is 142 lanes and kilometers. It is generally set at the far right lane of a road and is used from 6:30 to 19:00. Except for buses, more than 20 buses, school buses, and police cars, fire engines, ambulances, and emergency rescue vehicles that perform emergency tasks, other social vehicles are prohibited from passing on public transportation lanes.
