Today, the price of construction steel in the Guangzhou market has risen again.
The market prices of Φ6.5mm common line produced by Handan Iron and Steel and Tangshan Iron and Steel Group are respectively 3860 yuan/ton, and the market price of Φ6.5mm high-end products produced by Guangzhou Steel, Handan Iron and Steel and Pinggang Steel is about 3880 yuan/ton, which is produced by Masteel and Tangshan Steel. The market prices of Φ12mm, Φ14mm, and Φ16-25mmHRB335 rebars are respectively 4030, 3960, and 3880 yuan/ton. The market prices of Φ12mm, Φ14mm and Φ16-25mmHRB335 rebar produced by Handan Iron and Steel are respectively 4140, 4070, and 3930 yuan/ton, which is a product of Guangzhou Steel. The market prices of Φ12mm, Φ14mm, and Φ16-25mmHRB335 rebars were respectively 4090, 4030, and 3920 yuan/ton, both rising by 50-60 yuan/ton from yesterday's prices.

Recently, the ex-factory prices of major steel mills in South China have been actively raised due to the rising prices of construction steel in the North China and East China markets. Handan Iron & Steel raised the price of wire rods and rebars by RMB 30/t, and the current prices for the Q235Φ6.5mm general line and Φ6.5-10mm high line were RMB 3,830/t and RMB 3,820/t respectively. The execution price of HRB335Φ 18-25mm rebar is 3860 yuan/ton. The ex-factory price of the high-gray steel line was increased by RMB 30/t, and the execution price of the Q235 6.5mm high line was RMB 3,910/t; the price of the rebar 10-25mm was increased by RMB 50/t, and that of the 28-40mm was increased by RMB 30/t. The execution price of HRB335Φ18-25mm rebar is RMB 3,990/ton.
At present, there is a strong atmosphere in the local market, but as most businesses are waiting to see each other, quotations are generally late. In addition, there are fewer new resources in the market, and the overall inventory is still in a tight state. Some merchants have the phenomenon of blocking the stock market, and the upward trend of prices in the afternoon market is obvious.
