Schaeffler's new surface coating research and development center in Germany

Recently, the Schaeffler Group has established a new surface coating research and development center in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

Schaeffler is a world-leading manufacturer of rolling bearings and linear products, a major supplier of automotive components and systems, and has been a leader in surface technology innovation and coating technology for decades.

PVD coatings improve surface properties such as improved abrasion resistance and reduced coefficient of friction.
