The future mold market will show ten major development trends

Liu Depu, secretary general of Shanghai Mould Industry Association, believes that China's molds will show ten development trends in the future:

First, the mold is becoming larger and larger. This is caused by the "multiple cavities" developed by the increasing size and high productivity requirements of mold-formed parts.

Second, the accuracy of the mold is getting higher and higher. 10 years ago, the precision of precision molds was generally 5 microns, and now it has reached 2 to 3 microns, and soon 1 micron precision molds will be available. This requires super finishing.

Third, the multi-functional composite mold will be further developed. In addition to stamping and forming parts, the new multi-functional composite molds are also responsible for assembly tasks such as lamination, tapping, riveting and locking, and the performance requirements for steel are also increasing.

Fourth, the proportion of hot runner molds in plastic molds is gradually increasing. Since the molds using hot runner technology can improve the productivity and quality of the parts and greatly save the raw materials for production, the application of hot runner technology is developing rapidly in foreign countries. Many plastic molds produced by plastic mold factories use heat flow more than half. Road technology, some manufacturers use more than 80%, the effect is very obvious. Hot runner molds have also been produced in China, and some enterprises have increased their usage rate to 20% to 30%.

Fifth, with the continuous improvement and development of plastic molding processes, gas-assisted molds and molds suitable for high-pressure injection molding will develop. Such molds require good rigidity and high pressure resistance, especially the cavity of the precision mold should be quenched, the gate sealing property is good, and the mold temperature can be accurately controlled, so the performance requirements of the mold steel are very strict.

Sixth, the application of standard parts will become more and more extensive. Mold standardization and the application of mold standard parts will greatly affect the mold manufacturing cycle, and also improve the quality of the mold and reduce the cost of mold manufacturing. Therefore, the application of mold standard parts will be greatly developed during the "10th Five-Year Plan" period.

Seven is the prospect of a fast economic mold. Nowadays, it is an era of multi-variety and small-batch production. In the 21st century, this production method will account for more than 75% of industrial production. Thus, on the one hand, the life cycle of the product is shortened, and on the other hand, the pattern changes frequently, and the production cycle of the mold is required to be as short as possible. Therefore, the development of fast and economical molds will attract more and more attention.

Eighth, with the development of lightweight products such as vehicles and motors, the proportion of die-casting molds will continue to increase, and the life and complexity of die-casting molds will be increasingly demanding.

Nine is to further accelerate the process of plastic substitution of steel and plastic substitution, and the proportion of plastic molds will continue to increase. At the same time, due to the increasing complexity and precision of mechanical parts, the requirements for plastic molds are getting higher and higher.

Ten is that the technical content of the mold will continue to increase, and the proportion of medium and high-grade molds will continue to increase. This is also the change in the mold market trend caused by product structure adjustment.

Laminate Lighting

A laminate lighting system is a special lighting technology used to provide lighting effects for display and display devices such as laminates and display cabinets. Laminates are usually made of transparent or translucent materials, such as glass, acrylic, etc., to display products or items.

Laminate lighting By installing lamps under or on the side of the laminate, the light shines directly onto the laminate, achieving the highlight of the display items and creating an attractive effect. Common lighting methods include:

Laminate backlight lighting: The light is installed behind the laminate, and through the transparency of the laminate, the item shows a bright and uniform effect under the illumination of the light. In this way, the display items can look more vivid and eye-catching.

Laminate sidelight lighting: The light is installed on the side of the laminate, so that the light comes in from the side, through the refraction and reflection of the laminate, evenly illuminating the display items. In this way, the texture and details of the item can be highlighted, enhancing its attractiveness.

Laminate point lighting: The use of small, high-brightness lamps to focus the light on a specific location to highlight the focus or specific part of the display item. This is often used to highlight a product or specific detail to create a unique visual effect.

Laminate lighting technology can be applied to various scenarios, such as shopping malls, museums, exhibitions, stores, etc., for displaying jewelry, watches, artwork, merchandise, and other items. It can not only enhance the ornamental and attractive of the display items but also improve the overall effect of the display environment and enhance the beauty and experience of the space.
