In contrast, the most serious pollution is the steel plating process. In order to protect the environment, the state has closed many small electroplating factories in recent years. However, this process seems to be irreplaceable. The electroplating has to be electroplated. Although it is controlled, there is still a lot of pollution. In order to protect the environment, scientists from all over the world have been trying to find an alternative process for electroplating. As early as the 1970s, Dacromet technology appeared in the world, but due to its immature technology and high cost, it has not been widely used. However, now we finally see the dawn of success. Currently in the countries of the world, Dacromet technology has developed rapidly with its unique charm. In China, the promotion and application of Dacromet technology is also in full swing. In China's packaging industry, electroplating barrels occupy a large market. The promotion of Dacromet technology has laid a solid foundation for the development of China's steel barrel packaging industry.

First, the development process of Dacromet technology

Dacromet originated from the United States Ocean Corporation, and it quickly developed without polluting the environment and other outstanding characteristics. In the 1970s, Japan’s NDS Corporation purchased from the United States’ MCII company Dacrolo's right to use technology in the Asia-Pacific region, and quickly developed more than one hundred coating lines in the country. In the early 1990s, several Dacromet production lines were introduced domestically. The production lines introduced were distributed in Tianjin, Nanjing, and Shanghai. As people’s awareness of environmental protection was strengthened, Dacromet's new process was welcomed by the community in recent years. Dacromet's coating production line is growing at a rate of 30% to 50% every year. At present, the country has reached more than 40, and this development momentum will continue. Currently in the domestic steel drum packaging industry, the application of Dacromet technology is still in its embryonic state and needs further development.

Second, Dacromet technology requirements for the surface treatment of steel barrels

Before the drum is coated with Dacromet paint, the surface must be clean and dry. The steel drums are usually cleaned and pre-treated with chemical liquid to remove the oil traces and dirt from the surface of the drums and then dried in an oven. Of course, the Dacromet-coated steel drums must be heat cured or cured by a combination of ultra-far infrared and heaters.

Therefore, Dacromet's coating and the current China's steel drum paint coating requirements are somewhat similar, the drying process is the same, which provides the prerequisite for the application of this technology in the steel drum production.

Third, Dacromet technology coating

Dacromet coatings can be divided into two basic types: Chromium Dacromet coating and Chromium-free Dacromet coating. Currently popular in the domestic market is chromium-containing Dacromet coating fluid. In foreign countries, as the awareness of environmental protection has increased, non-chromium-based antimony has become a trend, and non-chromed coatings have gradually become popular. In Japan, there are Chromium-free Dacromet surface treatment liquids V505 and V872 are sold, and their performance is even better than that of chromium-containing Dacromet.

Chromium-containing Dacromet (zinc-chrome membrane) coating, the appearance of uniform silver gray, the coating contains 80% of zinc and aluminum, the rest is chromate. According to the needs of some also added a friction-reducing effect of PTFE resin content of about 4.5%. The Dacromet coating is baked from Dacromet coating liquid at a temperature of about 300°C. Nowadays, in the electrogalvanizing industry, more and more people understand the technology of zinc-chromium film (Dacromet), and the general zinc-chromium film (Dacromet) coating manufacturers are all producing coating liquids for production. The proportion of the coating liquid in the entire production is very large. In order to reduce the production cost, many manufacturers have already formulated the coating liquid on their own. Although the composition and proportion of each home are not the same, the overall content is the same. The main ingredients are also the same.
