The reporter learned from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation on the 26th that at 15:10 on the same day, China used the Long March II carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch the Tianxing No.1 03 star. The satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit.
Tianhua No.1 is developed by Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. It is mainly used in scientific experiments, land and resources surveys, map mapping, crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation. It will be used for scientific research and nationals in China. Economic construction plays a positive role. Tianzhu No.1 satellite is China's first transmission-type three-dimensional surveying and mapping satellite. Tianxing No.1 01 star and 02 star were launched in 2010 and 2012 respectively, making an important contribution to China's surveying and mapping industry.
The Long March II Ding carrier rocket was developed by Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. This launch is the 215th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
