Root-knot nematodes settle for feeding and stimulate root cell proliferation, which continuously damages the root tip of new roots, making the secondary roots into clusters (roots), and it is difficult to absorb nutrients. The diseased plants grow slowly or chlorosis is not long, the plants are short, the leaves are yellow and thin at the beginning of flowering, the leaves are scorched, and they fall off early. The flowers are small and flowering is late, with little or no results. The nematode can also invade the husk, the stalk and the rhizome, and the husk is damaged to form a small tumor of the white bulge. The posterior sputum is brown sore, but less common. The stem and rhizome form a cluster of grape-like tumors.

Control methods: (1) Chemical control Use 10% anti-line No. 1 emulsifiable concentrate, 2-2.5 kg per acre and 20 kg of fine soil to make toxic soil into the hole, and cover the soil after sowing. Or use 10% aldicarb (iron-killing) granules 2.5-5 kg, 3% carbofuran (carbone) granules 5-6 kg, 5% sulphur phosphorus (kedandan) granules 8 kg, 5% Miller granules 3.6 kg, can also be used 10% methyl isoflavone, sulfur ring phosphorus, gram phosphorus granules 4-6 kg, seeding should be layered to prevent phytotoxicity. At the same time, we must pay attention to human and animal safety The seed coating agent is prepared by using a systemic fungicide such as carbofuran, and the seed is treated 2 days before sowing, and the concentration of the drug solution is preferably 30% or more. The fumigant can be controlled by DD mixture, dibromoethane (EDB), tampon (fast kill) and the like.

(2) Biological control The application of Paecilomyces lilacinus and Verticillium dahliae can significantly reduce the nematode population and digest its eggs.
