1 Introduction

With the development of the domestic automobile industry in recent years, the speed of updating the varieties and specifications of mechanical products is accelerating, and the delivery is timely. The mass production of traditional combination machine tools or special machine tools cannot meet the needs of development, and modern design ideas should be transported. Born. Since the emergence of the modular design idea, there have been many advances in its research and application at home and abroad [1] . Japan's Y.Ito, Y.Yoshida [2] et al. proposed the concept of a hierarchical module and used GT codes to describe the machine structure. German P.Dietz [3] studied the problem of solving combinations between modules of different sizes. The former Soviet Union's D.Vragoo [4] and Y. Saito [5] studied the module coding problem in the overall layout of the machine tool. Chen Minxian [6] in China conducted a theoretical discussion on the combination of machine tool modular design and computer technology. Hu Weigang of Huazhong University of Science and Technology [7] developed a intelligent knowledge system for machine tool modular design. In view of the fierce competition and dynamic market facing the manufacturing industry, the main purpose of the standard competition is to design the CNC machine tool structure motion simulation system (SDSS) [8] to apply the modular design idea to the engineering design of the machine tool. Integrate the engineering, industrial design and motion simulation of modular machine tools into a complete computer-aided design system. Integration is the key, and system modeling defines all the data of the system throughout its life cycle, ensuring the smooth implementation of the integration.

In recent years, the research of feature technology is very active, whether it is feature-based CAD, feature-based CAPP, or feature-based product modeling system, with features as basic information units and operation units. Features have become the communication medium for design and manufacturing processes and an important element of CAD/CAM integration. The research of modeling technology in the 1990s mainly focuses on three-dimensional solid modeling and feature modeling, such as geometric constraint problems in solid modeling [9] , feature-based three-dimensional parametric modeling [10] . The SDSS system uses feature modeling.

In order to make the reader have a whole concept, the working flow chart of the SDSS system is given, as shown in Figure 1. The system uses the development tools ADS and Borland C++ provided by AutoCAD, Turbo C and 3DS as the underlying support software.
