Organic photovoltaic technology is a promising green energy technology and has significant application prospects and social benefits. Among them, electron donor materials based on organic solution-processable (oligomerized) small molecules have advantages of structural determination, easy purification, high structural diversity and easy control, and high charge mobility, and are important organic photovoltaic donor materials.

In recent years, Professor Chen Yongsheng team designed and synthesized a series of organic (oligomeric) small molecule electronic donor materials, and achieved a series of important results. The previous results have been published in the JACS and other related papers. .

Based on this, they designed a new type of donor material, and through optimization of components and components, achieved the highest single-cell photovoltaic efficiency in the field of small molecule photovoltaics, and the photoelectric conversion process, mechanism, and The step-by-step efficiency has a more comprehensive understanding of the future development of this field and has an important guiding significance for higher efficiency photovoltaic devices.
