Bearing steel pipe refers to a hot-rolled or cold-rolled (cold drawn) seamless steel pipe for the manufacture of ordinary rolling bearing rings. The outer diameter of the steel pipe is 25-180mm, and the wall thickness is 3.5-20mm, which is divided into ordinary precision and high precision. Bearing steel is steel used to make balls, rollers and bearing rings. Bearings are subjected to extreme pressure and friction at work, so bearing steels are required to have high and uniform hardness and wear resistance, as well as a high elastic limit. The requirements for the uniformity of the chemical composition of the bearing steel, the content and distribution of non-metallic inclusions, and the distribution of carbides are all very strict and are one of the most demanding steel grades in all steel production.
The physical properties of bearing steels are mainly based on the inspection of microstructures, decarburized layers, non-metallic inclusions, and low magnification structures. Under normal circumstances are hot rolled annealing, cold drawn annealing delivery. The delivery status should be stated in the contract. The low magnification of steel must have no shrinkage, subcutaneous bubbles, white spots, and microscopic pores. The central looseness and general loosening must not exceed 1.5, and segregation must not exceed 2 levels. The annealed structure of steel should be uniformly distributed fine-grained pearlite. Decarburization depth, non-metallic inclusions and carbide unevenness shall comply with the relevant national standards.
Under normal circumstances, the diameter of less than 20mm to pack delivery, more than 20mm can bare delivery. Specific packaging requirements, depending on the contract requirements signed by both parties, such as the hexagonal package, the length difference, the general export to add packaging and so on. The cold-drawn steel should be coated with rust-proof oil. If some domestic manufacturers urgently need goods, they may not be rust-proof, otherwise they will need to do degreasing when processing the rings. Before shipment, the goods should be attached with a quality guarantee, indicating the steel number, furnace number, weight, specifications, chemical composition, inspection standards, and inspection results.
