Following the successful cloning of bananas, in 2004, the Institute of Biotechnology of the Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences successively succeeded in the cloning of Zhangpu and cloning horseshoes, and for the first time established an industrialized production system for tissue culture of Zhangpu and horseshoe in China.
