1 Overview
The instrument is suitable for determining the penetration of petroleum asphalt, liquid petroleum asphalt after distillation or evaporation of emulsified asphalt.
The depth of the asphalt sample was inserted in the vertical direction within 5 seconds with a load of 100 g to identify the asphalt hardness.
The instrument consists of a circuit system, a load connecting rod, a standard needle, and a time control system.
2, technical requirements
2.1 The instrument shall have the following signs: name, model specification, manufacturer, factory number, date of manufacture, etc.
2.2 The instrument has a good appearance, complete accessories, and is accompanied by a product certificate and product instruction manual.
The 2.3 needle and the needle link move vertically without significant friction and can indicate that the needle penetration depth is accurate to 0.1 mm.
The 2.4 needle and connecting rod and the additional weight are 100±0.05g.

3. Calibration conditions

3.2 The measuring instruments used for verification must pass the metrological verification and pass within the valid period of the metrological verification.
3.3 Petroleum asphalt penetrometer should be calibrated at room temperature of 15~30 °C and clean and non-corrosive.
4. Calibration items and verification methods
4.1 Check the appearance and operation of the instrument according to the technical requirements 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3.
4.2 Weigh the needle and connecting rod and the additional weight with an analytical balance, measure three times, average the weight, and weigh 100±0.05g.
4.3 Measure the diameter and length of the standard needle with a vernier caliper and a steel ruler, and measure the angle of the needle tip cone with a universal angle ruler.
4.4 Measure the maximum deviation of the standard needle with a universal ruler and measure the average value three times.
5, verification result processing and verification cycle
