After completing the development of the controller hardware and software, the semi-physical simulation test can effectively verify the correctness of the control system design.

The gas turbine is generally composed of generators, compressors, turbines, combustion chambers, regenerators and other major components.

During the start-up phase of the gas turbine, the motor is dragged by the soft starter unit and the turbine is accelerated together. When the ignition speed is reached, the controller turns on the ignition nozzle, the fuel shut-off valve, and the regulating valve to start ignition.

After the ignition was successful, the turbine began to do work, and the generator was jointly driven to continue to increase the speed of the gas turbine. This stage was called double-dragging. The control system monitors the generator starting current and shuts off the motor drive circuit when the current is reduced to a certain value. After that, the turbine enters the idle speed under the separate drive of the turbine, and the start-up process ends.

In order to improve the thermal efficiency of the gas turbine at each power level, the gas turbine often adopts a variable power, variable speed control strategy, that is, the control system according to the load changes, timely adjustment of the gas turbine speed, to achieve the optimization of the entire operating conditions of the gas turbine control.
