Russian and British scholars also published several different nanometer-sized diamond samples with adsorbed water content and compared their dielectric constants. It was found that the dried diamond powder did not exhibit special excellent properties, but it was adsorbed by water under normal air conditions. Has a unique high dielectric constant. The reason is that scholars believe that water molecules may adsorb acid groups on the surface of nanodiamonds, leading to proton separation and further rapid changes in dielectric constant.
