Application of refractory materials in boiler

The combustion in the boiler takes place in a furnace chamber covered by a water-cooled wall. To prevent wear, a layer of fire-resistant and wear-resistant material is applied to the inner wall of the lower furnace. The fuel and limestone powder are fed into the lower furnace. The combustion temperature in the furnace is usually 840-900e. Between the limestone powder and the SO2 released from the combustion of the fuel, calcium sulfate is formed.

The calcium sulphate is discharged from the furnace slag from the slag outlet on the distribution plate into the slag cooler together with the slag. The furnace bed material consists of fuel ash, limestone and calcium sulfate, with a particle size of 50-300 Lm.

The primary air is fed from the bottom of the furnace ceramic fiber paper sheet, and the wear-resistant hammer fluidized bed material is carried along with the bed material. The secondary air is fed at two heights higher than the air distribution plate to achieve a graded air supply. The flue gas generated by the combustion carries a large amount of solid particles, and a large number of particles are captured by one or more cyclone separators arranged at the outlet of the furnace and then returned to the furnace through the circulation loop.

According to the distribution of the heat absorption of the boiler, one or more external heat exchangers (FBHE) can also be arranged in the circulation loop. A part of the controllable particles can also enter the FBHE before returning to the furnace. After passing through the convection heating surface of the tail, the flue gas is cooled by the tube or regenerative air preheater and discharged into the atmosphere by the induced draft fan.
